Request a librarian research consultation

Graduate research students, researchers and research professional staff can request an appointment with a Scholarly Services Librarian or copyright expert.

Consultations are available on weekdays between 9am-5pm or by negotiation, and run for up to 50 minutes. Two business days’ notice is required.

The team offers support for the following specialised topics:

• an overview of Library research services
• copyright for research, including:
  • planning and conducting research
  • publishing research (including apps, websites, film, performance)
• literature searching support
• systematic searching for evidence syntheses
• publishing and open access
• research data management
• research metrics
• research outputs, including:
  • author profiles
  • research outputs and Deakin Research Online repository.
