Getting started
Welcome to the Library!
Welcome to Deakin Library - your starting point for study success. Find your textbooks and key resources, make the most of our collections and spaces, and get the help you need to feel confident from day one.
The most important stuff
-
Check if your unit has a prescribed or recommended textbook. Many textbooks are available via Library Search or your reading list as an e-book.
-
Resource guides are a great place to start your research. Our discipline-specific guides highlight key resources and tools for your study. Our general guides can help improve your research, digital literacy and study skills.
-
Discover how to find everything you need, including peer reviewed articles, primary and secondary resources, unit readings and more.
-
We have a library space at each campus that is now open 24/7. Each library has bookable study rooms, private Reset Rooms for self-regulation, oodles of study areas, computers and printers, vending machines and helpful librarians.
-
Connect with other students, swap study tips and get insider advice from people who know what it takes to succeed at uni. Join our Library Study, Snacks and Chats sessions during weeks 1-3.
