The Garden We Grew: Anam Cara Geelong
Exhibition details
About exhibition
This exhibition, featuring artworks created by Anam Cara’s day guests through art therapy, celebrates personal stories and the therapeutic benefits of creative art therapy. Anam Cara Geelong is a world-class palliative care hospital set within Deakin University Waurn Ponds grounds. Its unique and exemplary medical and nursing model means that it is often the first round of work-integrated-learning undertaken by Deakin Medical students, who not only learn about working in a clinical setting but also the importance of humanity, empathy and creativity.
