Course overview
The technological advances over recent years combined with the mass adoption of social media and digital tools have made information central to all aspects of work and life. The Master of Information Systems focuses on the strategic use of information by organisations, particularly in a business context, and enables students to specialise in Business Analytics, Social Media and Mobile Strategies or eBusiness and Supply Chain Management. The core units of the program develop key foundational knowledge of the discipline preparing students for a career as an Information Systems professional. The three areas of specialisation develop current skills and expertise that are highly sought after by employers.
The course is aimed graduates from all disciplines seeking to build a career as an information systems professional, particularly in the IT services and consulting industry. The course incorporates extremely flexible methods of delivery combining the use of high quality Cloud (online) study and face-to face campus mode learning and has a high level of industry engagement.

The program consists of 16 credit points, including 8 credit points of core units; an Information Systems specialisation of 4 credit points and 4 elective units.
