Content
The study of global and national inequalities is possibly one of the most important areas of study in sociology. Patterns of inequality are based on categories such as social class, gender, race and ethnicity. The first section of this unit will explore these categories as well as sociological explanations by major theorists in the area. The unit then moves on to and examination of globalisation, work and global risks.Assessment
