Content
In this unit students will learn how to apply Linux and open source software in the creation of network routers and firewalls, file servers, web servers, and other network servers. The unit will examine installation and configuration of the Linux operating system, its kernel, basic Unix commands and administration, software deployment, network configuration, DHCP, DNS, firewall setup, file systems and their configuration, NFS, Samba, printing, Apache, PHP, MySQL, mail services, security, and licensing.Assessment
