Some basic principles of animal behaviour will be introduced. The second topic examines the structure and functions of plants and will include morphology and growth, reproductive biology, nutrient acquisition and transport, and biotechnology. While the focus is on flowering plants, other plant groups and the non-plant eukaryotes fungi and algae will be discussed.
