This is a 0-credit point unit required of all Arts & Ed students which needs to be completed individually online
AAI018 is a core unit in all Faculty of Arts and Education courses.
The unit learning and assessment activities provides students with guidance on what constitutes academic integrity. It will allow students to develop knowledge, skills and good practice principles to avoid plagiarism and collusion and thereby maintain academic integrity.
Identify the values of academic integrity - honesty, trust, fairness, respect and responsibility and their importance in academic writing

GLO8: Global citizenship
Identify writing practices that meet University police and the principles of academic integrity
Identify current academic writing skills and areas for development required to meet academic integrity principles
Identify University academic support services and opportunities to access them
These Unit Learning Outcomes are applicable for all teaching periods throughout the year
The assessment due weeks provided may change. The Unit Chair will clarify the exact assessment requirements, including the due date, at the start of the teaching period.
To be eligible to obtain a pass in this unit, students must complete both parts of the quiz and achieve 8/8 in Part A, and 5/7 in Part B.
Students are allowed unlimited attempts of the online assessment.
