Content

This is a continuation of the work covered in Chinese 1A and willconsolidate and build on the communication skills acquired in the firsttrimester. Emphasis will continue to be placed on correct pronunciation andmoving towards fluent speech. Students will be introduced to more complexgrammatical constructions. The unit focuses on mastery the of spoken and written Chinese required to function at a basic level of communication in arange of contexts. Cultural topics will be discussed in conjunction with thelanguage material.
