You don't need to have studied business at school to apply for the Bachelor of Business. To be eligible, you'll need to meet the course entry requirements, including the required English prerequisite. Subjects such as business management, economics, accounting or maths can be helpful, but they are not required for admission. The Bachelor of Business majors are designed with industry to give you practical skills, confidence and clear career direction. Course structure
To complete the Bachelor of Business, you must pass 24 credit points.
Most units are equal to one credit point. As a full-time student you will study four credit points per trimester and usually undertake two trimesters per year.

Units
To be completed in the first trimester of study:-
Refer to the details of each major sequence for availability.
Students may choose up to 7 credit points of open electives. These may constitute a second business major, or a major available in another Faculty (provided any pre-requisites can be met), up to two minor sequences or a combination of units (again pre-requisites allowing) chosen by the student.
These may include additional Work Integrated Learning (WIL) units offered by the Faculty or University subject to meeting pre-requisites.
What to expect while studying
Course duration may be affected by delays in completing course requirements, such as failing of units or accessing or completing placements.
Units which contain work integrated learning, a community placement or interaction with the community may require a police check, working with children check or other check. These requirements will be detailed in unit guides upon enrolment.
You can expect to participate in a range of teaching activities each week. This could include lectures, seminars, online interactions, or professional experiences for Work Integrated Learning (WIL) units. You can refer to the individual unit details in the course structure for more information. You will also need to study and complete assessment tasks in your own time.
Units in this course may have participation requirements that include compulsory placements, work-based training, community-based learning or collaborative research training arrangements.
