This unit is only available to students enrolled in M325 Bachelor of Business
Completion of at least 16 units
Students will on average spend 150 hours over the teaching period undertaking the teaching, learning and assessment activities for this unit.
1 x 2 hour class, 1 x 1 hour seminar
Online independent and collaborative learning activities (recordings provided) including weekly 1 hour scheduled online seminars.
This is a capstone unit that builds on and integrates student’s knowledge, skills and abilities gained from units comprising the Bachelor of Business.
Students are given the opportunity to demonstrate their ability to plan and manage a business in a simulated global business environment.
Students work in teams and draw from their skills toolbox gained in the Bachelor of Business to develop, implement, and evaluate their performance in running a virtual business.
In particular, students apply their knowledge of management to set up a virtual international business and take the business through its life cycle.
These are the Learning Outcomes (ULO) for this UnitAt the completion of this Unit, successful students can:

Demonstrate an understanding of the complex managerial process of business management planning and development.
ULO2
Integrate cross-disciplinary business knowledge and skills in developing and implementing various business and managerial strategies to address business issues

Evaluate the relative value and effectiveness of different business management skill sets in the setting and achievement of team-oriented goals
ULO4
Articulate and evidence workplace experiences and transferrable skills via professional written document
ULO5
Demonstrate an understanding of the economic, environmental, social and global perspectives that impact business decision making

These Unit Learning Outcomes are applicable for all teaching periods throughout the year
