The construction management component of this course provides you with a well-rounded set of skills that can be applied in a range of practical settings. Topics you will cover will include:

You will have the option to commence this combined degree at our Melbourne Burwood campus or Geelong Waterfront campus. All property and real estate units are available online in addition to a range of construction management units. Online study is a perfect complement to campus-based learning.
Indicative student workload
You can expect to participate in a range of teaching activities each week. This could include lectures, seminars, workshops, site visits and online interaction. Professional recognition
Both single degree courses are professionally accredited by multiple professional bodies including the:
- Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
- Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB)
- Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS)
- Australian Property Institution (API) for Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) status.
This course is professionally accredited by industry. As a graduate you will have completed the academic requirements for membership of the Australian Institute of Building (AIB), the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
As a graduate you will also receive professional accreditation by the Australian Property Institute and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. In addition, you will meet the academic requirements for membership as a Certified Practising Valuer.

Fees and charges vary depending on the type of fee place you hold, your course, your commencement year, the units you choose to study and their study discipline, and your study load.
Tuition fees increase at the beginning of each calendar year and all fees quoted are in Australian dollars ($AUD). Tuition fees do not include textbooks, computer equipment or software, other equipment or costs such as mandatory checks, travel and stationery.

Course rules
To complete the Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours)/Bachelor of Property and Real Estate, students must attain 40 credit points.
Course requirements for both the Bachelor of Property and Real Estate (M348) and the Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) (S346) must be satisfied.
The course comprises a total of 40 credit points, which must include the following:
- 15 core units and 1 Work Integrated Learning (WIL) course elective from the Bachelor of Property and Real Estate
- 23 core units (24 credit points) from the Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours)
- SRA010 Safety Induction Program (0-credit point compulsory unit)
- DAI001 Academic Integrity Module (0-credit point compulsory unit)
- STP010 Career Tools for Employability (0-credit point compulsory unit)
Students are required to meet the University's academic progress and conduct requirements.
