Combine your interest in business and psychology

Apply behavioural insights and data-driven science to solve business problems with Deakin’s courses combining studies in psychology with marketing or human resource management.

The Bachelor of Marketing (Psychology) explores the underlying reasons behind consumer behaviour and develops a deeper understanding of human decision-making. This course is a recognised pathway to becoming a Certified Practising Marketer through the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI).

The Bachelor of Human Resource Management (Psychology) explores the human mind in different business contexts and gives an understanding of the underlying factors behind common workplace challenges. This course provides accreditation from the Australian Human Resource Institute (AHRI).

Both courses are a recognised pathway to becoming a registered psychologist through the Australian Psychological Accreditation Council (APAC) and offered on campus or online.

Course director of the Bachelor of Marketing (Psychology), Dr Virginia Weber and Course director of Bachelor of Human Resource Management (Psychology), Dr Huw Flatau Harrison will co present this session. Both course directors have extensive experience in either consumer or organisational psychology. This session covers an overview of both courses and insights into the graduate skill sets in demand across many industries.
