Biography
Georgina Williams has extensive experience in executive and governance positions across ASX, private and non-profit organisations in a range of sectors including financial services, property, retail and industrial. She serves on the boards of Australian Property Trust and People’s Choice Credit Union. Previously she worked in senior management positions with AustralianSuper, Bank of Melbourne, NAB Europe and was Chief Executive of Food and Wine Victoria.
Georgina is President of the Board of UN Women Australia, the Australian partner organisation of UN Women committed to advancing gender equality and the empowerment of women worldwide. She has also held governance and expert advisory position in the secondary and tertiary education, financial literacy, human rights and housing fields.
Georgina is a member of the Audit and Risk Committee and Investment Committee.
Qualifications
Georgina holds Bachelor of Arts and Commerce degrees, has completed financial planning qualifications through the Association of Superannuation Funds Australia (ASFA) and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
