Support and resources

Deakin has many resources to help students, teachers, parents and carers to learn more about university study options and pathways.

Entry schemes

Entry pathways

There's more than one way for students to gain entry into Deakin. We can help if students don’t get the ATAR they want, or want to move from TAFE to university.

Admission and selection

Students can demonstrate their readiness for university study in a number of ways – we consider a range of factors during the application process.

Deakin offers a range of scholarships and awards to support students to attend and succeed at university, including our student support scholarships. We also offer scholarships and support for students from refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds.

Making a difference

Additional support can make all the difference in a student’s ability to fully participate in what Deakin has to offer, to encourage them in their education, and prepare them for their working life after university.

Visit our Student impact page to find out more about the scholarships and support programs made possible by our supporters, and the difference they have made for our students.

Deakin alumni are invited to support current Deakin students who have experienced educational disadvantage through volunteering and other ways to give.
