Content
This unit content focuses on the foundational ideas and practices of physics to enable students to understand what they observe and do in their daily lives and future work: describing the interactions between objects and systems, and the nature of matter and energy and its transformations including heat, light and sound, and electricity, using the concepts of waves, vectors and fields. The unit integrates concepts and skills from mathematics and technology to enhance student learning and enjoyment and understand the big ideas of physics.
