Study commitment | Students will on average spend 300 hours over the trimester undertaking the teaching, learning and assessment activities for this two credit point unit. This will include educator guided online learning activities within the unit site. |

In-person attendance requirements | Compulsory attendance at a 5 day intensive held two weeks prior to the start of the trimester. This intensive will be held at the Warrnambool campus. |
Content
This unit provides the underpinning knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology that is required to complete a comprehensive clinical assessment at an advanced level of clinical practice. It builds on the existing knowledge of paramedics operating as registered health professionals.
