The DeakinTALENT and GradConnection GlobalJOBS boards are designed for university students and graduates, and cover most career areas and industry sectors in Australia and abroad. Start your job search for casual/part-time roles and internships while you study, and investigate graduate roles as you approach your final year of study.
Career Coaching
DeakinTALENT's Career Coaching service gives you the opportunity to receive personalised career advice to explore your career options and develop an action plan. You'll also get guidance to market your skills and experiences to potential employers.

Career Success Workshops provide you with practical, personalised, hands-on support to build your confidence and strengthen your marketability. Our workshops cover employment options, building your personal brand, creating a CV and preparing for an interview.
DeakinTALENT International Student Careers
DeakinTALENT International Student Careers (DISC) is a program for international students where you can explore your employment options, and build your marketability and networking skills. The program helps you to understand the Australian employment market and workplace culture, and to apply your job search strategies in Australia or internationally.
Experience & Employment Expo
The DeakinTALENT Experience and Employment Expo (EEExpo) brings over 100 employers to Deakin to promote internships, vacation work, volunteering opportunities, international experiences and graduate programs. The EEExpo is a chance for students to discover employers across all industry sectors and expand their wish list of prospective employers.
Graduate Job Search Program
The Graduate Job Search Program is designed to support graduating students and new graduates to secure graduate employment. The program includes workshops, digital resources and an application boot camp, and will help you:
- explore the broad career options available to you, enabling you to develop an informed wish list of prospective employers and/or employment opportunities to target
- build your career portfolio and strategies to increase your marketability and confidently present yourself to employers
- apply your job search strategy to either secure employment with chosen employers or create employment working-for-yourself.
