Background

Stephen Bubb is a lawyer with extensive experience in diverse areas of the law, legal practice management, professional development, and risk management. He was a former Partner and Director of a large regional law firm in Victoria for 30 years and a former Director of Goulburn Valley Regional Water Authority from 2012 to 2017.

Since 2016, Stephen has worked with the Legal Practitioners’ Liability Committee as a risk manager, providing practical assistance, education and guidance to legal practitioners in support of the Committee’s role as a professional indemnity insurer.

Stephen is also an accredited mediator and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Stephen is Deputy Chancellor, and a member of the Chancellor’s Advisory Committee, Finance and Business Affairs Committee, Honorary Degrees Committee and People and Culture Committee.
