Deakin Alumni: Win 1 of 50 Gift Cards

• This competition is governed by the laws in force in the State of Victoria.

The Competition

• The competition is free to enter and is open to all Deakin University Alumni who log in to the Deakin University Alumni Community Portal during the competition period and update either their contact details, employment details or interests. To be eligible, entrants must have a valid and contactable email address in that Community Portal database and have not selected no further email contact or no further contact from Deakin University to be eligible.
• Staff employed by Deakin University Advancement portfolio are not eligible to enter the competition.

Competition Period

• The competition commences at 9am AEST on 27 February 2018 and closes at 9am AEST on 26 March 2018.

The Prize

• The prize for each winner is a gift card to the value of AUD$100.00. Winners may choose between a $100.00 Woolworths Wish Gift Card, $100.00 Coles Myer Gift Card or a $100.00 Bunnings Gift card. The use of gift cards will be subject to the terms and conditions of the card issuer.
• If a winner of the Gift card competition resides outside of Australia, Deakin may, if requested by the winner and subject to availability, provide a Gift Card from an equivalent retail outlet in the alumni members’ country of residence to a value of up AUD$100.00.
• The total prize pool is valued up to AUD$5000.00.
• 50 winners will be drawn randomly from among eligible entrants.

How to Enter

• Eligible entrants who log in to the Deakin University Alumni Community Portal during the competition period to update any of their contact details or employment details or interests, will automatically receive one entry in the competition.  Entrants will only be registered for this competition once regardless of how many times they log in.
• The winners’ names will be drawn on 26 March 2018 at the Deakin Alumni Office, Deakin University, Waurn Ponds Campus.
• The winners will be notified by one or more of email, SMS and in writing. The names of the winners will be published online at http://www.deakin.edu.au/alumni within 15 days of the draw date. Winners will be sent or emailed the prize.
• If the winner does not respond to claim the prize within 14 days of the draw the prize will be forfeit.
• Prizes are not transferable. Deakin University’s decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into. Deakin accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.
• Entrants consent to Deakin using their name, image or voice for promotional purposes. Winners agree to make themselves available for a photograph and interview in the event and if requested by Deakin.
