Ten lucky Deakin alumni winners will win amazing concert tickets and will have a choice of Taylor Swift, Bon Jovi, Bob Dylan and Florence and the Machine tickets in the order that they are drawn.

The prizes are:

(a) Two VIP Kingdom Keys package tickets to the Taylor Swift concert in Melbourne on Friday 26 Oct 2018, 7.00pm.

(b) Two VIP Kingdom Keys package tickets to the Taylor Swift concert in Sydney on Friday 2 Nov 2018, 7.00pm.

(c) Two VIP Kingdom Keys package tickets to the Taylor Swift concert in Brisbane on Tuesday 6 November 2018, 7.00pm.

(d) Two VIP Ultimate Fan package tickets to the Bon Jovi concert in Melbourne on Saturday 1 December 2018, 6.45pm.

(e) Two VIP Ultimate Fan package tickets to the Bon Jovi concert in Adelaide on Tuesday 4 December 2018, 6.45pm.

(f) Two Gold Reserve Seating tickets to the Bob Dylan concert in Perth on Wednesday 8 August 2018, 8.00pm.

(g) Two Gold Reserve Seating tickets to the Bob Dylan concert in Melbourne on Tuesday 14 August 2018, 8.00pm.

(h) Two general admission tickets to Florence and the Machine - A Day on the Green concert in Geelong on Saturday 19 January 2019, 4.00pm.

1. Information on how to enter this Competition forms part of these Terms and Conditions. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and entries must comply with these Terms and Conditions to be valid.

2. This Competition is governed by the laws in force in the State of Victoria.

The Competition

3. This Competition is free to enter and is open to Deakin Alumni who open Edition Six of the dKin Times alumni enewsletter during the competition period in the manner set out in these Terms and Conditions. The enewsletter was sent to alumni with an active email address in the Deakin alumni database on Wednesday 4 July 2018 by Deakin Alumni Community (deakinalumni@engage.mail.deakin.edu.au). To be eligible to enter, the Deakin Alumni member must have a valid and contactable email address in the Alumni Community Portal database and have not selected no further email contact or no further contact from Deakin University – to make any changes to preferences and contact details including email address, please email deakinalumni@deakin.edu.au to request the change. Deakin alumni cannot forward their copy of the enewsletter to anyone else to enter.

4. Entrants may only register for this Competition once.

5. Employees of the Deakin Advancement portfolio are not eligible to enter this Competition.

Competition Period

6. This Competition commences at 9.00am AEST on 4 July 2018 and closes at 9.00am AEST on 20 July 2018.

The prize

7. There are 10 in total, winners will be offered a choice of all the double-pass tickets until all the tickets have been drawn and there are no remaining tickets.

(a) Prize number one = Two VIP Kingdom Keys package tickets to the Taylor Swift concert in Melbourne on Friday 26 Oct 2018, 7.00pm valued at $1232.70.

(b) Prize number two = Two VIP Kingdom Keys package tickets to the Taylor Swift concert in Sydney on Friday 2 Nov 2018, 7.00pm valued at $1235.20.

(c) Prize number three = Two VIP Kingdom Keys package tickets to the Taylor Swift concert in Brisbane on Tuesday 6 November 2018, 7.00pm valued at $1239.00.

(d) Prize number four = Two VIP Ultimate Fan package tickets to the Bon Jovi concert in Melbourne on Saturday 1 December 2018, 6.45pm valued at $1376.40.

(e) Prize number five = Two VIP Ultimate Fan package tickets to the Bon Jovi concert in Adelaide on Tuesday 4 December 2018, 6.45pm valued at $1325.40.

(f) Prize number six = Two Gold Reserve Seating tickets to the Bob Dylan concert in Perth on Wednesday 8 August 2018, 8.00pm valued at $420.00.

(g) Prize number seven = Two Gold Reserve Seating tickets to the Bob Dylan concert in Melbourne on Tuesday 14 August 2018, 8.00pm valued at $420.00.

(h) Prize number eight = Two general admission tickets to Florence and the Machine - A Day on the Green concert in Geelong on Saturday 19 January 2019, 4.00pm valued at $220.00.

(i) Prize number nine = Two general admission tickets to Florence and the Machine - A Day on the Green concert in Geelong on Saturday 19 January 2019, 4.00pm valued at $220.00.

(j) Prize number ten = Two general admission tickets to Florence and the Machine - A Day on the Green concert in Geelong on Saturday 19 January 2019, 4.00pm valued at $220.00.

The total prize pool is valued at $7908.70.

10 winners will be drawn randomly and the winners will be offered their choice of all the double-pass tickets in the draw order until all the tickets have been drawn and there are no remaining. Once a prize package of tickets has been given away to a winner, it is not available for subsequent winners to select.

How to enter

8. Deakin Alumni need to open Edition Six of the dKin Times alumni enewsletter during the competition period and must have a valid and contactable email address in the Alumni Community Portal database and have not selected no further email contact or no further contact from Deakin University – to make any changes to preferences and contact details including email address, please email deakinalumni@deakin.edu.au to request the change.

9. Entrants who open their copy of dKin Times Edition Six during the competition period will automatically receive one entry into this Competition. Anyone who receives a copy of dKin Times forwarded to them by another Deakin alumni member, will not be eligible.

Selection and notification of winners

10. The prize draw will be conducted on 20 July 2018 at 1.00pm AEST at Deakin University, Alumni Relations Office, Waurn Ponds Estate, Waurn Ponds Campus, Geelong, Vic, 3216.

11. Winners will be notified by email or phone. The names of the winners will also be published online at www.deakin.edu.au/alumni within 14 days of the date of the draw. Tickets will be given directly to the winners at a Deakin Campus where possible, otherwise registered post will be used.

12. If the winner of a prize does not claim the prize within 14 days of the date of the draw, a re-draw will be conducted within 21 days of the original draw date.

13. If the winner does not want any of the remaining available tickets, a re-draw will be conducted within 21 days of the original draw date.

14. Prizes are not transferrable and are not redeemable for cash. Deakin's decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. Deakin accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.

Consent to promotion

15. Entrants consent to Deakin using their name, image or voice for promotional purposes. Entrants agree to make themselves available for photograph and interview in the event theirs is the winning entry and if requested by Deakin.

Collection Statement

16. Personal information provided to Deakin by entrants will be used to conduct the draw, notify the winner and publish the winner's name. It will also be used to establish or update information in Deakin University’s Alumni Community Portal and Advancement Database. The University’s information privacy policy may be viewed at theguide.deakin.edu.au or by contacting privacy@deakin.edu.au.

Deakin complies with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic) in its treatment of personal information. Entrants have a right to access their personal information held by Deakin. Requests for access to personal information are managed under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Vic).
