Start your course preferences shortlist
Preferencing starts in early August. As you start your research, have more conservations and complete your Year 12 assessments, you can progressively refine your preferencing shortlist. VTAC will offer you a place in the highest preference you’re eligible for.
How to choose your preferences
VTAC preferencing is now open for courses commencing in 2022.
- Select ‘course application’ in your VTAC account.
- Apply for up to eight courses in order of preference.
- Review your application and submit.
Remember, VTAC will offer you a place in the highest preference you’re eligible for. So while it’s important to include courses you think you’ll get into, your top preferences should be the courses you want to get into – shoot for the stars!
Have your studies been disrupted by difficult circumstances? You can apply for special consideration when you submit your course preferences.
Will I be studying on campus?
The interactive experiences you’re looking forward to in 2022, like learning in world-class facilities, club activities and meeting new friends, will take place on campus. Digital learning opportunities will complement, not replace, on-campus teaching, adding value to your degree by providing flexibility and training you in the digital literacy skills that are crucial to the future of work.
