Undergraduate

Undergraduate (your first degree)

An undergraduate degree is generally completed between two to four years, depending on the pattern of study and any recognition of prior learning you may have. Associate degrees, bachelor and bachelor with honours are all undergraduate degrees.

Postgraduate

Postgraduate (further study)

A postgraduate qualification can be undertaken by students who have already completed an undergraduate degree or possess significant, demonstrable work experience. Postgraduate courses include graduate certificates, graduate diplomas, masters and PhDs, as well as specialist programs for industry professionals.

Our Bachelor of Design (with major study areas in communication design and interactive and UX design) is formally recognised by the Design Institute of Australia (DIA) and meets industry standards. This means you can gain membership to the DIA and access some of the biggest design events in the nation, allowing you to expand your professional network while you study.

Our Bachelor of Design (Architecture) is accredited within Australia by the Australian Institute of Architects, Architects Registration Board of Victoria and Architects Accreditation Council of Australia when it is followed by successful completion of the Master of Architecture.

Student showcase

This collection showcases student projects from our third-year A319 Bachelor of Design program. The design outputs traverse communication design, print and identity branding campaigns, motion graphics and illustrative works. This collection draws from several final-year units, including Design for Change, Creative Design Studio and our capstone program, Collaborative Design Project.
