1 x 4-hour practical per week
In this 2-credit point unit, students will undertake a series of creative practice investigations premised on deconstructing works from selected case studies. The practical work demands that the student investigator break the work down and identify component materials and develop rationales for strategies of process from concept through to production.
Student work will be presented for critical feedback by peers and academic tutors. Within the unit, students are enabled to investigate and apply key concepts within the creative practice case studies and to present their investigation in a range of forms from modelling, to oral presentation, and workbook. Student learning will inform the development of their own manifesto for creative practice.
