Content

This unit enables students to explore the principles and processes of television studio production through practice. By examining the context and evolution of historical and contemporary production practices, students will learn about the various formats and creative possibilities associated with studio production genres. Exercises and projects replicate real world productions and challenges in an industry level broadcast studio. Multi-camera studio production requires teamwork and collaboration with an emphasis placed on the development of pre-production planning, production management and studio production skills. This is a practical unit that requires attendance to participate in the assessment activities.
