Content

Students will learn concepts and skills of compositing and motion graphics for title sequences for moving image projects for film, animation, visual communication, games development, web and other media contexts using industry standard software and studio techniques. Students will complete a number of exercise tasks including animating text and still images, motion tracking and stabilization, shooting plates, colour correction and compositing in order to produce a finished title sequence for a portfolio in a specific genre. Students will then consider what styles, influences and techniques are appropriate to work on an existing film of their choice to create an alternative titles sequence in relation to storytelling.
