Content

This unit aims to equip students with business skills to confidently produce a short form moving image project. It will assist the student to prepare for work in the screen industries by focussing on business skills needed to launch a project:  bibles and packages, funding applications, preparing schedules, contracts, budgeting, and pitching. Students will be exposed to areas of marketing and promotion, distribution and thinking about audiences. They will also critically analyse the relationships between producers and other industry stakeholders. The unit will conclude with a pitching day to industry professionals.
