Content
In this unit, the construction and manipulation of photographic images is creatively and critically explored through a variety of conceptual frameworks and introduces methods for RAW image capture enabling sophisticated digital processing for various media. Intermediate techniques in colour correction, image retouching and colour grading will be developed enabling students to apply these skills to studio and built environment contexts. Students will be introduced to colour calibration, profile management and fine art inkjet printing. The ethical, social and political implications of contemporary digital imaging will be examined in relation to the production of creative works.
