Students will on average spend 150-hours over the teaching period undertaking the teaching, learning and assessment activities for this unit.

This will include educator guided online learning activities within the unit site.

Scheduled learning activities - campus

1 x 3-hour practical experience (workshop) and 1 x 4-hour seminar per week

Content

Students will be presented with a project proposal and work under the direction of the lecturer to develop and present an original performance work. Students are introduced to methods for devising theatre in group contexts based on the work of influential contemporary performance practitioners and the needs of the project and will document and evaluate the creative process.
