Content
This unit uses a work-integrated learning approach to develop strategic skills for the writing and allied creative arts sectors. The strategic skills are:
- pitching self and own arts practice for specified creative industry sector;
- researching, conceptualising and planning projects/applications relevant to given clients and own arts discipline.
The emphasis is on the combination of presenting a coherent approach to students’ own creative practice, and demonstrating key industry skills related to real-world projects selected from examples such as small grant, residency or fellowship applications, or creative project/installation proposals.
