Introduction to Sports Media is a broad, yet comprehensive guide of the sport media landscape. You will explore the significant role that different media and media platforms play in the creation, distribution, and consumption of sport-related content. We will also analyse the historical evolution of sport media, the impacts of digital technologies, and the role of media in shaping public perceptions and discussions about sports. The unit will examine a broad range of cultural, social, political and economic issues that are relevant to communications professionals seeking a career in the sport media industries.
