Content
This unit will focus on a variety of methodological approaches to clinical assessment and clinical research based upon the scientist-practitioner model of evidence-based practice. Students will obtain understanding of research methods suitable to evaluating treatment progress. Additionally, students will gain insight into the principles of open science, the evaluation of clinical literature, the evaluation of sound measurement in clinical practice, and to preparing and evaluating qualitative literature. Moreover, this unit will extend student knowledge regarding the evaluation of therapeutic outcomes through the application of advanced research methods to small scale and single case designs.

This unit is Pass Grade only. All assessments must be passed in order for the unit to be passed.
