Students will on average spend 150 hours over the teaching period undertaking the teaching, learning and assessment activities for this unit.
This will include educator guided online learning activities within the unit site.

You must complete your placement hours within your trimester of enrolment of the placement unit, unless otherwise stated directly by the Unit Chair. If you are not able to complete the placement by the end your trimester of enrolment in the placement unit, please email the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences Professional Placement Office at email@example.com as soon as possible.

This unit has mandatory on campus attendance requirements, therefore students must be in Australia when enrolled in this unit.
In weekly seminars (small groups) topics relevant to the practicum placements will be discussed to ensure constant monitoring and support for students throughout their practicum experience. Students also participate in personal career planning seminars that includes resume development, developing a job application, and an online profile.
