Study commitment | Students will on average spend 450 hours over the teaching period undertaking the teaching, learning and assessment activities for this unit. This will include educator guided online learning activities within the unit site. |

Content
This unit provides students with a professionally accredited placement experience within a sport setting, fostering the practical application of Applied Sport Science principles. Students will refine and expand their existing knowledge through direct engagement in at least two different specialisations such as performance analysis, strength and conditioning and high-performance management.
Aligned with industry and national accreditation professional standards, this placement facilitates the development of a comprehensive career roadmap through structured industry, self, and professional learning activities. Students will be guided to utilise established career platforms, initiating professional networking and developing a strategic professional profile. Through detailed job description analysis, students will critically evaluate their progress in acquiring industry-recognised generic and transferable skills, demonstrating professional development, and contributing effectively within team environments.
Throughout the 360-hour placement, students will integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application, adhering to professional accreditation requirements and solidifying their readiness for a successful career in sport and performance
