Content

This unit explores occupational participation from adolescence through to older adulthood, examining the dynamic relationship between occupational participation, health, and wellbeing. Using an occupational therapy model and framework of health and wellbeing, students will analyse how personal, social, cultural, and systemic factors influence human development and participation in meaningful occupations. The unit also investigates barriers and facilitators to participation to support inclusive and holistic occupational therapy practice across diverse communities and life stages.
