Content

This unit will introduce students to local and international models of customary and innovative processes of Indigenous Knowledge production and expression. Students will examine narrative, visual, place based oral modalities whilst deepening understandings that Indigenous cultural practices are legitimate and justifiable knowledge repositories (mode of knowledge storage). A range of different models, case studies and frameworks will be examined to contextualise students’ development and design of their own research practice model.
