Content

This unit's focus is on building construction processes, materials and methods, and how we can bring sustainable choices into each of these areas. Students will learn of climate change, the harmful effect of property construction and property use on the earth’s environment, and how residences and commercial properties can be better designed to limit their harm. This unit also introduces students to the construction process of residential and commercial buildings, including the materials, processes and technologies involved.
