Available to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Business (Sport Management), BCom majoring in Sport Management (continuing students only), Bachelor of Sport Development and the Dean's Scholars Program.)

Students will on average spend 150 hours over the teaching period undertaking the teaching, learning and assessment activities for this unit.
This will include educator guided online learning activities within the unit site.
|Scheduled learning activities - campus||
1 x 1.5 hour class + 1 x 1.5 hour seminar per week.
|Scheduled learning activities - online||
1 x 1.5 hour recorded class + 1 x 1.5 hour online scheduled seminar per week.
The unit examines the sport sciences and their application, in particular their application to sport performance and athlete welfare and wellbeing. Implications for sport management will be a focus of this unit.
