Students will on average spend 150 hours over the teaching period undertaking the teaching, learning and assessment activities for this unit.

This will include educator guided online learning activities within the unit site.

Scheduled learning activities - campus

1 x 3 hour on-campus seminar (recordings provided) each week.

Content

This practical unit offers a step-by-step guide on how to successfully conduct a research project, from choosing a topic to presenting your results. The unit is divided into sections on preparing and planning your research project, undertaking the research, and communicating the results. Examples of real research problems and practical solutions will be offered to bring to life the design and management of a research project.
