Medical centres

Whether you feel unwell, need course-related, travel or flu vaccinations or are after medical advice, our doctors and nurses can help. Students and staff at each of our campuses have easy access to an accredited medical centre, with both male and female doctors offering respectful and professional care.

Our services

Our medical centres offer all the services you'd expect from a doctor's surgery, and it couldn't be easier to get the help you need. Exclusive to students and staff, you can drop in to see someone, book your appointment or organise a phone consultation with one of our nurses.

  • Management and treatment for general illness
  • Mental health treatment, referral and management
  • Physiotherapy
  • Preventative health checks
  • Vaccinations
  • Women's health (including unplanned pregnancy counselling and referral)
  • Counselling (free for both students and staff)
  • Men's health
  • Blood, urine and other pathology tests
  • Specialist referrals

Other medical services

While we don't have pharmacies or dentists on our campuses, our medical centre staff will be happy to help you find these services nearby.

Treatment and care is free in public hospitals for Medicare cardholders and there are hospitals near each of our campuses.

If you're an OSHC cardholder, you'll be charged an initial out-of-pocket fee for accessing services. This fee can be rebated (most costs paid back to you) through your OSHC provider.
