Business analytics

Discipline

Every business seeks to gain a competitive advantage through data. As a result, graduates with analytical skills are in high demand. Business analytics is offered as part of our Bachelor of Business Analytics and our Master of Business Analytics is an industry leader.

Get work-ready

Organisations place increasing emphasis on data to make day-to-day decisions and inform long-term strategy. Data analysts and specialists are in high demand as businesses and governments need to make sense of the huge pools of available data. Learn to find meaning and extract value from data by applying creativity to real-world problems. We’ll arm you with data analysis skills and teach you how to apply problem-solving and creative thinking to the needs of business, science and society.

Undergraduate

Undergraduate (your first degree)

An undergraduate degree is generally completed between two to four years, depending on the pattern of study and any recognition of prior learning you may have. Associate degrees, bachelor and bachelor with honours are all undergraduate degrees.

Postgraduate courses include graduate certificates, graduate diplomas, masters and PhDs, as well as specialist programs for industry professionals.

Research

Higher Degrees by Research (supervised research)

Research degrees are research based master’s or PhD programs that focus on a single area of expertise. They provide students the opportunity to carry out highly specialised research under expert supervision.

Career opportunities
