This exciting new initiative, due to open in 2025, is being developed at Deakin’s Warrnambool campus will invigorate the teaching offerings in the region. With new state-of-the-art teaching facilities – including simulation laboratory spaces, specialist learning spaces, and shared health discipline facilities – the precinct will create an integrated environment for students to engage and learn.

Our learning hub is complete with simulated kitchen, bathroom and bedroom spaces, all installed with automated smart home technology. Students will learn how to utilise assistive technology, including voice activated devices and complex fixed technologies, to improve patient’s quality of life.
Our teaching zones have projection screens that can display course material and record audio and video assessments. This enables you to analyse footage and get feedback from your teachers in real time. Understand how you’re performing and improve your strategies in a supportive learning environment.
