How you'll learn
Learn directly with industry experts in small groups to build your own expertise and incorporate relevant industry knowledge and skills in your context. You are required to attend all masterclasses.
What you’ll learn
During four 3-hour masterclasses you’ll:
- discover what design thinking is and understand the mindsets for competitive advantage
- define design thinking, by identifying high-value opportunities, and scoping and scaling design challenges
- develop design thinking by assembling challenge teams, and looking at tools and prototypes in practice
- synthesise design thinking delivery, from innovation to implementation.
How you’re assessed
Your assessment will be presented as either a report or presentation, where you’ll create a plan for how you will apply design thinking to a challenge you are facing in your work. If you choose to complete this assignment as a written report, your submission is due at or before 9pm 4 weeks after the last masterclass. If you choose to complete this assignment as a presentation, your presentation will be booked at a mutually agreed time 4 to 6 weeks after the last masterclass.
To be successful we recommend you are proficient in English and have a minimum of an undergraduate degree in a related field or significant work experience.
