Event details

Professor Ariadne Vromen (The University of Sydney) has read hundreds of grant applications through her role as Director of Research Development, and regularly assesses grants in her role on the Australian Research Council (ARC) College of Experts.

Ariadne will talk about the art of writing grant applications to fund your research, focusing on how we can all better argue for the significance and innovation of our research, as well as explain the methods we use. She will also suggest that researchers need to tell better stories about their individual track records and contribution to knowledge.

Ariande will also explain how the ARC grant assessment processes works, and will answer your questions to help demystify the process.
