Biography
I am an environmental scientist working on questions related to ecology, conservation and society. In particular, I am most interested in: i) how concern for Animals informs environmental values and practice, ii) the environmental potential of transitioning to plant-based agriculture, and iii) more critical approaches to how the sciences consider Animals. I want to leveraged research to help created a better future for Animals, the environment and humans.
If any of this sounds interesting to you please feel free to reach out and get in touch.

Research interests
My predominant research interest is in how our relationship with non-human Animals shapes science, the environment and society. I like to imagine how these things might change if we gave more consideration to the claims of other Animals. Specifically I am interested in:
- Perceptions of Animals and their use in science and society.
- Compassionate conservation.
- Agricultural transitions to plant-based agriculture.
