Biography summary

My current research focuses on using networks to understand dispersal and connectivity of marine species within a wide range of projects: coral reef ecology, artificial structures and marine biosecurity and provide management recommendations.

Research interests

My research focuses on dispersal and connectivity of marine species (invertebrates, seagrasses, corals) using biophysical models. I use network analysis to analyse these complex systems and produce management and conservation outcomes.

My current projects are related but not limited to to: ship traffic, eDNA, larval dispersal, and artificial structures.

  • larval dispersal and connectivity
  • network analysis
  • ecological modelling
  • restoration and conservation
