Biography

Dr Brayner is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Institute for Physical Activity and Nutrition (IPAN). She has a PhD in Nutrition and Public Health from Deakin University and a Masters in Human Nutrition (University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil). Her research focuses on dietary patterns and cardiometabolic health from both an epidemiological and clinical research perspective.

2016-2018: Master of Sciences (Human Nutrition), Institute of Nutrition Josue de Castro, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Research project: Polymorphism in the FADS gene, profile of circulating polyunsaturated fatty acids and lipid intake in eutrophic adult pregnant women from a public maternity in Rio de Janeiro county. Supervisor: Prof Fatima Lucia de Carvalho Sardinha.
