Biography
Dr Cecilia Wei Hu joined the Department of Accounting at Deakin University in July 2022 after receiving her PhD from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).
Cecilia’s research interests include financial accounting, M&As, and mutual funds. Her work has been published in The Accounting Review. Before joining Deakin, Cecilia taught at UTS and the University of Sydney, and served as an ARC Research Grants Officer at UTS.
Prior to her academic career, Cecilia gained nearly a decade of professional experience in the mutual fund industry. She is a member of both Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
