Biography

Dr Hunter Fujak is a Lecturer in Sports Management at Deakin University, having previously consulted within media and sponsorship for Australasia’s largest sporting leagues, events and brands. His research focus areas include sport consumer behaviour, media and broadcasting, with scholarly works published within the Journal of Sport Management, European Sport Management Quarterly, and Media International Australia. Hunter is also a regular media commentator, having written for The Guardian, B&T, The Conversation, and published Code Wars- The Battle for Fans, Dollars and Survival, to provide thought-leading analysis of the Australian commercial sport landscape. Hunter’s most recent work, Sport Broadcasting for Managers, details industry best practice within a rapidly evolving sport media landscape.
