Science and Environment School Experience Program

An exciting hands-on program offering students with an interest in science and the environment an opportunity to take part in a day of engaging and interactive activities.

Program focus

Our program offers Year 10 students the opportunity to participate in activities such as water testing, vegetation surveys, analysing the proteins found in milk, discovering the chemistry found in soft drinks, and learning the tools and techniques of molecular biology.

The program is designed for a maximum number of 50 students per day. Students will be split into two groups of 25 and alternate between both science and environment activities. Depending on numbers, schools may be grouped together for the activities.

2020 program

With the COVID-19 situation rapidly evolving, the safety and wellbeing of our community remains our top priority. Unfortunately this means that we have decided to cancel this year's Science and Environment School Experience Program. This decision has not been made lightly and we apologise for any inconvenience.

We are exploring alternative ways to engage with your students and will keep you updated should we be in a position to offer the program later in the year. Thank you for your support and we hope to see the program return in 2021.
